A 30 year career in any field is an accomplishment but in
Hollywood it's cause for celebration!
When you see the 37 film titles listed below it will become more than apparent
that Richard Dix bounced around from studio to studio throughout his career.
In fact Warner Brothers was the only major studio with whom Dix did not make a film.
Always popular, always a draw, it's clear executives felt he was just what they needed
when the right role came along.

Perusing the pages, linked to the titles listed below, will give you great insight into
the wide range which Richard Dix possesed. It's an amazing testament to his
talent that he was able to survive the advent of sound, move easily from romantic
lead to Western star, then into the tough guy roles which dominated the silver screen
after World War II.
It's my sincere hope, as you view each page, you will come to share my
opinion that Richard Dix is the most unsung film star of the 20th
Century. He truly was the star that never failed to charm, thrill and entertain
his fans!
